Packblaster Packing Removal

The HP-1000 Packblaster Packing Removal System removes packing hydraulically and saves up to 95 % in packing removal time. The Packblaster System also removes packing without damaging the stem or stuffing box surfaces. Damaging these surfaces can create fugitive emissons leaks. In addition to saving labor, the Packblaster Packing Removal System can save the costs associated with removing and replacing bonnets and valves.

Industry Examples:

The packing material on 75 valves was subject to operating parameters of 1,000 Deg F at 2,700 PSI of steam pressure. The ambient temperature in the working area was 130 Deg F. Using the Packblaster 1000 Packing Removal System, packing was removed from all 75 valves in an average time of 40 minutes per valve.

The HP-1000 Packblaster Packing Removal System was used at a Northeastern power generating station to remove packing from six turbine lifting valves.
